The more we apply digital platforms to manage our daily transactions, the more important and worthy of protection our digital ID becomes. At the same time, seamless digital approachability and transaction capability are the decisive enablers of many digital business models. We have consulted many corporations about installing ID management –  either independently or with a partner – that fulfills these requirements. 

With our own venture Pinkmilk.de, we have demonstrated how a small local store can be developed into a thriving national internet business. Even today, Pinkmilk is our testbed for new e-commerce tools and marketing formats. 

By digitalizing sales processes in the energy sector, direct customer relationships emerge that can be used as a foundation for new service- and business models. For a major electricity provider, we investigated the possibilities associated with these processes and developed a corresponding expansion strategy.  

Through connecting every possible device in the internet of things, both a diverse array of potentials and many questions emerge: which IoT products already make sense in the short and medium term? Which technologies, such as connectivity and platforms, are available? For our clients, including major corporations in the telecommunication and aviation industries, we discover the answers.

The new mobile communications standard 5G will open up a myriad of new business opportunities, from integrated production processes in the context of Industry 4.0, to VR and AR applications, to autonomous driving. We provide support to a leading telecommunications corporation in developing new 5G-oriented business fields. 

Concurrent with network technology, computing infrastructures continue to evolve. With edge computing, decentralized computer capacity moves between devices and cloud in order to master the onslaught of data being processed from increasingly more units. We conduct analyses for our clients about which application instances edge computing already creates added value and for which uses this infrastructure will prove vital in the future. 

Traditional shipping agents are increasingly challenged by new digital forwarding platforms. The digitalization of core processes simultaneously open up the possibility for direct relationships to partners and customers. We provide support to a major transnational freight forwarder in developing and implementing their digital strategy.

Distributed Ledger Technology, such as Blockchain, creates new possibilities for applications in which several parties wish to work together with increased security and minimal transaction costs. The range of application extends far beyond pure financial transactions: the handling of logistic chains, loyalty programs, and/or identity management can also benefit from DLT. For our clients, we investigate ways to become more efficient with DLT and open up new growth fields. 

Artificial intelligence will achieve lasting change to established industrial structures, work processes, and business models over the medium term. In exchange with universities, we collaborate with our clients in analyzing which steps are already feasible and which AI potentials can already be put into practice.
