Robert Schönthal was early fascinated by computers and how they work. Even today he learns programming languages or frameworks on a regular basis. The logical consequence was a study about "Business-Informatics" which he finished as one of the best.
After a short period as a fulltime-employee he is a freelance IT-Consultant and Developer. His skills range from Architecture, Cloud-Infrastructures, Tooling & Automation, Backend-Development and Frontend-Development.
Since then he designed and implemented parts of the Otto Cloud-Migration, developed a whitelabel Content-Platform for Gruner & Jahr, Content-Websites for agencies like Sinnerschrader and E-Commerce-Shops like AboutYou.
For a project at LSP his focus shifted to Data-Engineering. His fascination for Big-Data, high performance Applications and distributed Cloud-Architectures is always pushing him.
