Prof. Dr. Michel Clement (b. 1971, Dutch citzizen) has been held the chair for Marketing & Media at Hamburg University since April 2006. At the same time he is the spokesperson for the Research Center for Media and Communication at Hamburg University. He taught at Fudan University in Shanghai, Passau Univeristy (Marketing and Services chair) and Kiel University (Innovation, New Media and Marketing chair).
During 1999-2002 he was active in the Think Tank (MediaTechnologies) of the Bertelsmann Group and held numerous management positions in the field of new technologies. Since then he has been conducting intensive research on the marketing of entertainment products, innovation management and customer management (especially in the area of blood donation). He sits on numerous supervisory boards (among others in the Madsack Media Group).
