Harro Müller was already a passionate programmer before his studies of computer science. As co-founder of a digital agency in 2000 in Hamburg he developed technical solutions für clients such as Axel Springer, Der Spiegel, Deutsche Telekom, Volkswagen, Bundesliga and Sinnerschrader. Main business areas were multimedia, search engines, database applications and information security. In 2007, Mr. Müller and his team developed the technology behind Statista.
After the acquisition of the agency by a strategic investor in 2014 he worked as an external consultant for Burda, Ströer, LSP and Neuhaus&Partner and conducted technical due diligence audits. As a security researcher he uncovered vulnerabilites at Google, Facebook and Hamburger Sparkasse, conducted security audits and developed database intensive statistical applications with machine learning components for Statista.
