Dr. Hannes Gmelin is a trusted advisor for leading European companies in Media, Communication, Retail and Services. Besides strategy development and operational efficiency, he places his focus on digital transformation of established organizations, customer service, restructuring as well as development of new business models.
He studied musicology, German language and business administration in Hamburg and Paris. After having completed his Ph.D., he started his career as a consultant at Booz & Company. Over the last 8 years, Dr. Hannes Gmelin had different operative management roles within Bertelsmann, most recently as Managing Director Customer Service.
