The fintech market is still very popular with investors, according to research carried out by strategic consulting company LSP Digital. Investments have been annually growing by 100 percent on average since 2012. By the end of October 2015, almost 246 million U.S. dollars had flowed in to German fintech companies, 122 million alone for areas such as risk management and credit scoring.
For comparison: just under 200 million U.S. dollars was invested in the field in the whole of 2014. Nevertheless, a strengthening of deals can be observed. The volume of financing is clearly growing and investment is occurring more selectively, in less companies.
